By the time the afternoon session of New York Men’s Day AW26 began, the creative tone for the day had already been set. The morning presentations leaned into comfort and emotional storytelling. The second half of the day, however, pushed further into structure, tailoring, and conceptual design.

Still dressed in my Thom Browne look, I settled in to see how the next group of designers would build on the momentum. What followed was a lineup of collections that demonstrated just how diverse the menswear conversation has become.

Wangda

Wangda delivered a confident display of modern tailoring. The collection featured sharply constructed suits with subtle twists that refreshed familiar silhouettes. Outerwear once again proved to be a highlight, with coats offering both elegance and practicality—exactly the kind of pieces that anchor a winter wardrobe. Christopher Lowman

Christopher Lowman injected the afternoon session with youthful energy. The collection nodded heavily toward alpine and ski culture, blending athletic inspiration with strong tailoring. While the references leaned sporty, the execution remained polished. The result was a collection that felt playful yet technically refined. Monday Blues Studio

Monday Blues Studio delivered some of the most memorable looks of the entire day. The collection carried a distinctive flair while remaining surprisingly wearable. A vibrant green short set stood out, perfectly showcasing the brand’s confident use of color and texture. This look truly demands to be experienced in person, as the beauty of the materials cannot be fully captured in photographs. Science Project Company

Making their New York Men’s Day debut, Science Project Company presented a collection titled “Chain of Command.”The presentation examined how clothing expresses power and authority. Modern tailoring reimagined traditional corporate uniforms and military influences, creating garments that challenge conventional ideas of authority while remaining relevant to contemporary wardrobes. Where Menswear Is Heading

New York Men’s Day AW26 reinforced something many who follow fashion have been feeling: menswear is in a deeply creative moment. Designers are no longer choosing between artistic expression and real-world wearability. Instead, they are finding ways to balance both.

From the fluid comfort of A.Potts to the sharp conceptual tailoring of Science Project Company, the designers presenting at New York Men’s Day offered a compelling glimpse into where men’s fashion is headed. For those watching closely, the message was clear. Menswear is becoming more expressive, more intentional, and more personal than ever before.
