During every fashion week season, we look to see what’s new now and next. What’s going to be the next trend, what’s the new “it” item that everyone is clamoring for. And while there’s an excitement to grab onto the latest and greatest, there’s also something to be said about looking at the fashions from the past. Sure some looks might seem dated, but there’s incredible fashions that hold up and just as fitting to be worn today.
That’s where Janet Mandell fits in. Mandel kicked off New York Fashion Week by showcasing a curated selection of vintage designer couture looks. The runway featured a look into a world of rare archival vintage from the 1990s and beyond, each look reinforcing Mandelll’s reputation as one of the most important names in luxury rental fashion today.
Models wore designs by Roberto Cavalli, Christian Dior by John Galliano, Gucci by Tom Ford and Gianni Versace.
