For Spring/Summer 2027, Alice + Olivia founder and creative director Stacey Bendet invited guests into a space where fashion and fantasy intertwined. Presented during New York Fashion Week, the “Welcome to Wonderland” collection took place against an immersive backdrop of lush gardens, oversized florals and whimsical interiors.

In keeping with tradition, the design house showcased the collection as a presentation rather than a traditional runway. This allowed guests to move through the collection and take in the craftsmanship up close. Models appeared among flower-covered walls, sculpted greenery and fanciful settings that extended the prints and textures of the clothing into the surrounding environment.
Florals define the collection

Florals emerged as one of the collection’s strongest themes, ranging from gorgeous blossoms scattered across romantic dresses to dramatically oversized blooms covering voluminous gowns. One striking floor-length dress transformed a garden of vivid red, blue, yellow and ivory flowers into a bold evening statement. At the same time, softer interpretations appeared in pale lace, embroidered separates and flowing silhouettes.
Texture played an equally important role throughout the presentation. Crystal embellishment, detailed embroidery, lace and delicate feathers brought dimension to the collection. Cropped jackets were paired with relaxed denim, while jeweled details and decorative belts elevated otherwise casual pieces. Elsewhere, feathered minis and highly embellished evening looks demonstrated the unique glamour that has become synonymous with the brand.
Fantasy and wearability matter for Alice + Olivia
The contrast between fantasy and wearability was effective this season. Among the dramatic gowns were pieces that could easily move from the presentation into a modern wardrobe: wide-leg cropped denim, romantic blouses, embellished jackets and feminine separates. That balance has long been central to Bendet’s approach: clothes designed to make an entrance without losing their sense of fun.

Technology in the design process
Technology also factored into the collection behind the scenes. Bendet has discussed using artificial intelligence as part of her design process, particularly as a tool for experimenting with prints and embroidery and refining ideas more quickly. Yet the finished collection felt decidedly tactile. Lace, dimensional embellishment, embroidery and richly layered fabrics stressed the physical craftsmanship of the clothes rather than the technology used during their development.
That combination of old-fashioned romance and contemporary experimentation felt especially appropriate for a collection built around imagination. The presentation itself became part secret garden, part fashion fantasy, with each room revealing another interpretation of the Alice + Olivia woman.
A collection that expands the Alice + Olivia world

For Spring 2027, Bendet didn’t abandon the exuberance that has defined the brand. Instead, she expanded its world, creating a collection where denim is naturally adorned with crystal embellishment, delicate lace and dramatic proportions.
The result was unmistakably Alice + Olivia: feminine, playful, glamorous and never afraid of a little fantasy. Take a look back at previous collections: Alice + Olivia SS 2026 and Alice + Olivia SS 2026.
