One of the advantageous about being an influencer is the chance to experience a variety of opportunities that I love sharing with you. That’s exactly what I was looking forward to when I had a chance to take a shopping excursion to Tanger Outlets at National Harbor.

To be totally honest I am not a big outlet shopper but I have been known to find some great finds from time to time In fact, a little over a year ago I did share my 6 outlet shopping tips. That was another reason why I want to hit the Tanger Outlets at National Harbor.

A shopping excursion could not have come a better time. A couple weeks later I was set to head up to New York for New York Fashion Week Men’s. Therefore I was hoping to find something new to take with me as I headed up north. Because of course, I had nothing to wear (smile.) But what I thought was going to turn into a great weekend was something entirely different.

A few weeks before my weekend getaway, I threw my back out. So for three weeks before my trip, I was laid up on my back. Naturally, I was looking forward to a getaway but the thought of a day on my feet seemed like a fate worse than death. However being the trooper I set out for my shopping trip.

For outlet shoppers, Tanger Outlets at National Harbor have 4 key features to help you make the most of your shopping experience.

  • Tangerclub – By joining the club, you’re one of the first to know about Tanger Deals. Not only do you get a TangerClub card but you get a coupon book for additional deals
  • Mobile App – You can save on your favorite brands by downloading the Tanger Outlets Mobile App
  • Text Deals – You can receive coupons, sales offers and promotions on the go by texting NATIONALHARBOR to 55695.
  • Get Social – Once you’ve found your deals, connect with Tanger Outlets and share your photos and stories by linking them on Facebook and Instagram

The day started out with a shopping challenge. It was an opportunity to showcase our shopping prowess and see who could save the most money. As the only male influencer/blogger with a back injury at this event, I was clearly at a disadvantage but ever the competitor I threw may name into the game. I popped over to Hugo Boss and got a great deal on a bold print shirt and a pair of white tech pants. Next I headed over to Theory and found a ridiculously great deal on a travel blazer. As with the pants, it too was made with out a great tech fabric. These three pieces made up my Day 3 look during New York Fashion Week. Oh and yes! I won the shopping challenge.

After my victory in the shopping challenge at the Tanger Outlets at National Harbor, I headed over to the Gaylord National Resort, my home away from home for the night While there’s a lot to do in the National Harbor, with a pretty jacked up back I decided I would use this opportunity for a night of Netflix and Chill.

The next day, I headed to Relache, the spa at the Gaylord for a bit of pampering. Let’s just say a bad back does have its privileges. While the gals took the spa tour, I was treated to a relaxing massage. Although my back was killing me, it felt like heaven for a least a few minutes. After that, I had a mini facial and then had my head shaved. It’s good to see quality services for men along side the women. This culminated in an end to great weekend.
