HM x DCFashion Fool collaboration: An iconic spring/summer look

Spring has finally hit DC and I couldn’t be happier. While you know I’m a big fan of fall/winter clothes, I’ve never been a fan of the colder temperatures. So although we’ve been teased with a taste of warmer weather, it looks like the season is here to stay. That’s why I was excited when I had a chance to partner with H&M to put together a fantastic look for the season. My HM x DCFashion Fool challenge? Put together an iconic spring/summer look.

Fun printed shirts are one of the hottest trends for Spring/Summer 2018. And H&M has some terrific options at some fantastic prices. It was kind of difficult to pick just one but that was my starting point for my HM x DCFashion Fool look. OK maybe I picked up two!

Lightweight pants are ideal for the summer when you don’t want to always wear shorts. Combined with a jacket, this look will get you through the spring days and will be a great look for those summer nights when the temps drop a bit. Lose the jacket and you’re summer ready whether its cruising in the city or strolling along sandy beaches.

To complete the look don’t forget the accessories. A great hat and pair of sunnies not only makes a look pop but they also service as additional protection from the sun.
