Now that we’ve hit the cooler months,“It’s Timberland Season.” It’s the perfect time to focus on the brand’s rugged, casual everyday boots. Most people are aware of the classic yellow Timberland boot. However, the shoe company is now known for much more than that favorite go to style. I wanted to find a great elevated casual look that embodies the Timberland brand but was more suited for my more urban lifestyle.
Fortunately for me I found the Britton Hill NXTWool™ Mixed-Media Boots. These super sleek boots are a combination of leather and wool. They’re the perfect cold weather boot to brave the Washington DC city streets. Not only are they a good-looking boot but they’re really comfortable as well. The boots boast a Sensorflex Comfort System that allows the boot to instantly adapt to uneven terrain and provide a smooth, stable fit. Combined with Timberland’s anti-fatigue technology I was able to rock them comfortably all day long.
For a modern take on an outdoor look, I paired the boots with Timberland’s Men’s Diamond River Mixed-Media Down Jacket. Don’t let the sleek sophisticate style of this bomber jacket fool you. The goose down filled coat is warm and will help me withstand more freezing temperatures as I head into the colder winter months. Plus, the jacket has a slimmer profile than many of your typical down jackets that are out now. That really appeals to my fashion sensibility.
Worn over a multi-textured tonal gray sweater with slim-fit black slacks, I was able to create the perfect outdoor look for the city. While I may not be hiking a trail out in the woods, I could easily opt for the challenge. However I’m totally equipped to conquer the urban jungle in style. It truly is Timberland Season.
